Bet R2 or more on selected Pragmatic Play slots at Sunbet every Monday and Wednesday night in September, between 20:00 and 22:00 SAST, and you are in the running for a random cash drop from a R50,000 pool — R450,000 across the month.
What’s running this September
Sunbet is running another Pragmatic Prize Drop event this September. It works like players in the area are used to: for two hours, there's a set amount of cash, and you don't need to worry about points. You just need to be playing a qualifying game during that time.
This event started on September 2nd and will end on September 30th, 2026. Prize drops only happen on Mondays and Wednesdays between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM SAST. If you don't play during that two-hour window, you'll miss out on that night's R50,000 prize.
How a drop works
This isn't a tournament. Sunbet doesn't rank players based on their stake, multiplier, or win/bet ratio.
If you place a cash bet of R2 or more on the featured games during a session, you have a random chance to win one of the cash prizes from that night's pool.
Each event has a maximum prize of R50,000. The total headline amount of R450,000 comes from nine events multiplied by R50,000 each. Sunbet reserves the right to extend or end the promotion, and its decisions on who wins are final.
Per session, the prize split looks like this:
| Number of prizes | Amount |
|---|---|
| 5 | R1,000 |
| 16 | R500 |
| 20 | R200 |
| 50 | R100 |
| 200 | R50 |
| 400 | R20 |
| 1,000 | R10 |
That is 1,691 prizes on a single night. Most of them are the smaller R10 and R20 drops. The five R1,000 hits are the ones people screenshot.
Full drop schedule (SAST)
- Monday 14 September, 20:00–22:00
- Wednesday 16 September, 20:00–22:00
- Monday 21 September, 20:00–22:00
- Wednesday 23 September, 20:00–22:00
- Monday 28 September, 20:00–22:00
- Wednesday 30 September, 20:00–22:00
Games that qualify
Only these titles count. A R2 spin on anything else is just a R2 spin.
- Gates of Olympus Super Scatter
- Sugar Rush 1000
- Hot to Burn
- Triple Pot Gold
- Chests of Cai Shen 2
- Chest of Cai Shen
- Gates of Sunbet 1000
- Anaconda Gold
- Gates of Olympus 1000
- Fire Strike
- Sweet Bonanza
- Sweet Bonanza 1000
If you still need a bankroll for the R2 spins
If you're starting a new Sunbet account, you can get a welcome bonus that matches your first deposit up to R1,000. If you use the Sunbet promo code SAGAMES, complete the FICA verification, and make your first deposit, you'll get this bonus. This extra money can help pay for several R2 bets without using the money you originally deposited.
Before you deposit, make sure to check the opt-in box and the current rules in the cashier section. This first-deposit match is only for new customers and must be used on your very first deposit. There are also wagering requirements. You need to bet five times the amount of your deposit plus the bonus on bets that meet the minimum odds of 1.5. If there are separate bonuses for the casino, they have a higher wagering requirement of 35 times the bonus amount on slots and live games. Any bonus money you don't use will expire after three months.
Who can play, and who gets cut
You must be 18 or older and legally allowed to gamble where you are. Sunbet employees and their immediate family are excluded.
Sunbet can disqualify a player who breaks the terms, and it is not responsible for entries that never register on the system. Accepting a prize also lets Sunbet use your name and likeness for promotion, with no extra payment.
Those rules sit on the official Prize Drops page. Read them before you treat a drop as banked cash.
A practical way to play the window
Keep it simple:
- Be logged in before 20:00 SAST.
- Open one of the twelve games above — search the name; don’t rely on the homepage row.
- Set the stake to R2 or more in rand.
- Spin with real money. Bonus-only or free-spin stakes are not listed as qualifying on this promo.
- Stay on a qualifying title until 22:00. Switching to a non-listed slot mid-window takes you out.
What this is not
Don't confuse this with Pragmatic's other Drops & Wins event. That one happens weekly, with daily prizes and a leaderboard. The Sunbet Prize Drops in September are separate and only happen on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Also, just because you qualify doesn't mean you'll win a prize. Most spins won't trigger a drop. This is how a prize pool of 1,691 works when many people are playing at the same time.
