Every qualifying spin earns you points based on your win multiplier. So a R30 win on a R3 bet scores exactly the same as a R300 win on a R30 bet. That means smaller stakes can still hold their own if you hit strong multipliers. The leaderboard stays open to everyone, not just the big spenders.

Why this one lines up better than most Halloween promos

This Halloween, LulaBet has a fun tournament called the Haunted Reels Tournament. It's a leaderboard contest where you play specific games using real money. You earn points based on how much you win compared to how much you bet. The tournament ends on October 31st, so see how you rank!

The tournament is short, features games many South Africans already enjoy, and you don't need to bet a lot to be competitive. If you already play these games, it's definitely worth checking out.

How the scoring actually works

Your points come straight from your win multiplier on each qualifying spin. A R30 win on a R3 bet is worth the same as a R300 win on a R30 bet. See how that works? Smaller stakes can still compete when you land solid multipliers. That keeps the leaderboard from becoming a playground for high rollers only.

A few hard rules sit underneath that:

Bets must be real money (bonus funds don’t count).
Minimum bet size is R3.
You need a minimum of 25 qualifying bets.
Only your first 1,000 spins count toward the leaderboard. Anything beyond that is ignored for points and prizes.
One account per player, household, device, IP and email. Anything that looks like multi-accounting or abuse gets you removed.

Prizes drop automatically into your account once the promotion closes. LulaBet can adjust or cancel the promo if needed, but only with Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board approval.

Prize breakdown

The full R10,000 is split across the top 20 positions:

Getting in and playing smart

If you already have a verified LulaBet account, just open any of the listed games, bet R3 or more, and start accumulating. New players who want to jump in can use the Lulabet promo code NEWBONUS during signup. It unlocks the current welcome offer (typically a free-bet or free-spins option depending on whether you go the sports or casino route), which gives you a little extra bankroll to work with before you start grinding the tournament spins. After that, it’s pure real-money play that counts.

A couple of practical notes from watching these leaderboard events:

Spread your spins rather than dumping everything in one session if you can. The multiplier scoring rewards the occasional big hit more than pure volume once you’re past the 25-bet minimum.
Keep an eye on the leaderboard in the promo section so you know how far the 20th-place line is sitting. It usually tightens in the last couple of days.
Stick to the listed games only. Anything outside the list doesn’t earn points.
