FirstBet Powerball Player Wins R250K

An extremely lucky member of FirstBet South Africa recently celebrated a prosperous win on the South African National Lottery’s Powerball draw.

With just a R10 bet on the outcome of the draw, the player secured a R250,000 payout, plus the return of their original stake.

The winning numbers for the 1,714th edition of the South African Powerball were 16, 19, 24, 25, 41, with 20 as the Powerball number. While the total jackpot for the draw stood at more than R48 million, the FirstBet player landed a substantial R250K prize after correctly predicting the required numbers in their winning category.

A total of 4,493,148 entries were recorded for the official lottery draw, but that didn’t matter for the FirstBet Numbers bettor, with FirstBet celebrating the win on its official X account, posting: “Real players. Real moments”.
